Production of aesthetic panels for vehicle, body and chassis parts for automotive and assembly components
Comet Sud has got 16 press, from 80 ton to 2000 ton, for manual stamping, progressive die or transfer with coil line feeding or Destacker feeder. One line with a 2000 ton press at the head and four 800 ton presses intended to be used in sequence or individually and press platen up to 6000 x 2500 mm.
Our production facilities
There are 10 fully automated welding cell, spot and seam welding, and a number of manual welding machine with automatic feeding of small parts.
State of the art of e-coating fully automated line using of forefront products in order to obtain finished parts act to satisfy a large number of OEM reference norms.
The line is composed by 11 step of pre-treatment of surface by different methods (spray and dip), one tub for black cataphorese, with predisposition to recive a withe cataphorese too, three stages washing and an automatic air-blowing station to improve the treatment of surface of aesthetic parts.
The process end to a powder coating robotized line.
To support the process and product control Comet Sud put in place an internal laboratory equipped, among others, with a 1000 liter salt spray chamber multi-function that cover cycle tests, humidity tests and one water bath thermostatic.
